Les Cooper evaluated the new ISO-L8R200′s

I have been a long time Recoil Stabilizer user and I thought that I had taken monitor isolation as far as I could… I couldn’t have been more wrong.  After trying the IsoAcoustic speaker stands today, I must admit, I’m a little confounded.  After hearing about these things I was expecting to hear a subtle difference, hopefully for the positive.  What I heard today was a  dramatic shift in my monitoring environment.  Anything but subtle.  Like some kind of magic trick… my room was gone.   Imaging opened up.   Clean open space.     Needless to say, I’m impressed.

Les Cooper is a Producer, Arranger, Multi-instrumentalist and Songwriter from the Greater Toronto Area. His compositions and productions have been featured on television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, The L Word , Fringe and One Tree Hill.  His productions have won several awards including a recent Juno for “The Good Lovelies” most recent album and several Juno nominations for other projects.
