Yesterday we posted the video we created to try and capture the A/B test demo. In setting up for the demo we ran the A/B tests with each speaker set combination mounted on the ISO-L8R155 stands to verify we had consistant results with any combination. The speakers all had the same settings.
The monitors on the stands were angled down to compensate for the raised positioning beside the other monitors on the table top. The microphones were carefully postioned for distance and on-axis placement. The monitors on the tabletop had the Focal rubber feet installed to simulate the “normal” configuration.

The session was recorded with Logic 9. Two tracks were used with the AT 4040 microphones and a third track for the SM58 for voice. This was all recorded in one take and with no effects applied, except the 2 tracks were panned left and right.
