Many people believe speaker isolation is required to decouple the monitors from a poor supporting surface that may be resonating and introducing unwanted frequencies. Customer Feedback: I’m left stunned. There simply is no comparison…..We received this e-mail fro a customer, and had to pass it along……. Hello, I just received a pair of your L8R155 monitor stands. I had them assembled in a matter of minutes, mounted my monitors (Neumann KH120) and turned on a cut of music I often use as a reference (I Can See Clearly Now by Holly Cole). I’m left stunned. There simply is no comparison between the IsoAcoustic stands and what I’d previously been using (PrimAcoustic; double the price). No A-B comparison needed here, nor any ornate double-blind tests with multiple pairs of ‘golden ears’ to argue ad infinitum over sonic subtleties. The difference in quality was instantly perceptible — and jaw-dropping. The depth and width of the sound stage, detail, air, tonality, timber, the lot…all palpably improved. Actually, I find the transformation quite astonishing. While I hardly consider myself ‘golden-eared,’ I will admit to having been an avid audiophile for some (45) years. That is to say, I deem my sense of hearing to be reasonably well-honed and discriminating. My home audio system (stereo, not multi-channel A/V) is a $75k setup. The Neumanns are what I use in my home recording studio (I do narration and VO). I can honestly say my new IsoAcoustic stands now count amongst the few — very few — components I deem indispensable. Congratulations to the IsoAcoustics team for an absolutely superlative product — and at such an affordable price. Thank you. The ISO 200s arrived today and we set them up under the SM9s…… WOW!!! They make such a difference! I can’t believe the results. The high and mid frequencies are very direct now and the bass response is very tight. It’s almost like a new pair of speakers in the room (again).

I have attached a few photo’s to this email to show you the set up of monitors and the stand. We are only using 1 ISO-L8R200 with each monitor as the stands we have only a 12″ by 12″ plate on top. ! I watched your demo video on-line with 2 small Focal speakers that you done an A / B test and was pleasantly pleased and excited to see what results we should get. I must say… the difference it made was amazing !! I feel that you have a great product here which is very well priced, solid build quality and it comes with many options to allow to custom fit it into your set up. More people need to see the product in action so they can hear the difference it makes for themselves. For a small investment of cash it makes any speaker from any price bracket come alive. To me this product applies to all levels and profession and is a vital and essential tool to have in your studio.
